Hi fellas. I got my new HU and amp set up and sounding great yesterday. However, I want to further tune the center freq. I've got a pretty good clarion deck, JL 500/1, and JL 12w3 in prowedge. I really shouldn't complain, but I am a little OCD about music quality. I've got a parametric eq on my HU and same for my amp. I can tune the "Q", "Center Frequency", and "Gain". on both. On the amp, I can set it to anything in the normal range, but on the HU, Q goes from 1 to 1.25 to 1.5 to 2, and center frequency goes from 50, 80, or 120. As I've got it sounding now, 80 sounds the best, and I've got the Q on 2. On the amp, I think it's around 70. My complaint is that some frequencies just hit quieter than others, and I want to try to get the most even balance, but have pretty much everything hit hard.
