Help! Front Stage for quad cab truck. ReSe 12's in the back

I'm looking for a nice sq set of comps for the front doors of a quad cab dodge. Factory speakers are 6X9. My budget for speakers and amp and possible active x-over is $800 - $1000. Any ideas? I'm game for any suggestions...active, passive, 4 chanel amp, etc. Thanks for any help.

if you want to use an active setup grab a pair of the ID OEM's or the Mach 5 MLI's and a pair of Seas neo tweeters.

That budget can get you a pretty sweet setup.

for mids, I'd go with Peerless Exclusives 7". Great mids if you can fit them. A slight downside is that they're 8ohms, but you can either get a nice 2 channel or bridge a 4 channel to them.

For tweets, those Seas neos are nice.

Mids ~$150

Tweets ~$65

Amps $140 (SQA-4 for mids, SQA-2 for tweets) ... tweets can also be ran off HU to save more money.

An Active HU ~$180+ (i have one)

That's ~$535

leaves you plenty of room for install hardware.. rcas, distros, wire.
