Okay so i got my subs installed the other day, and they get very loud. For the time they were playing ( I dont play them anymore untill i can find out how to fix this problem) they were great. Now just one of the subs (15" TC-2000) has a slight flaw and do not want it to turn out to be major. The problem is that the part of dust cap thats glued to the basket, around the screw's is coming off.

So should I just glue that little portion back or is this serious?

Also what should I use to glue it back?

Oh haha sweet so its not major, thanks for the info guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

WHOA!!! Stop playing those subs now! I am assuming that the original post was simply a mistake in terms. I have been doing mobile audio for over a decade and I have NEVER seen any sub with a dustcap glued to the frame. The dustcap is part of the moving diaphram and by definition should not be glued to the stationary frame. What is more is that in both of the production models (aluminum cone and titanium cone) the TC2K had a one piece cone...so there is no dustcap. So...are we talking about the surround(outer rubber suspension) that is glued to the frame next to the mounting holes? Or are we talking about the spider(inner fabric looking suspension piece attatched to the voicecoil) glued to the inside of the frame? Either way both are very important to the structural integrity of the driver considering the intense forces exerted on the driver while performing its stroke. Please be more specific as to the problem. I own a TC3K 15 and have installed MANY TC Sounds woofers. Please clarify because I think you're getting some bad advice.
