help doing port measurements for 2 15in. l7's

well i was using this http://www.carstereo.com/help2/Articles.cfm?id=31 and this is what im confused about. when i put in my info it gives me 100.55 diameter. but at the bottom when i do the width and height im going to have 2 slot ports. so i would do 50in diameter per sub correct? if so im getting to 12.5 height and 4 width and 24inches in length. im just making sure if i did that right or not

i went 18 height by 2.75 for the port so it got a better look and it came out to 16.5 length. so thats all done and settled with if i did that right which i think i did. This is my box tuned to 35hz.

turns out the first design wont fit my trunk. so i came up with this,

that should just barely fit in there.

I would Suggest Double Baffle.

ok well its between the box in the post above. or this one.....its a mammoth.......after displacement its a wopping 14.06cubic ft. tuned to 35hz with measurements of 35.5in. wide

40in. deep

17.5in high

and the port being

14.5inches high and 8inches wide.

so its a toss up. stick with this box or the one before.

Make your port longer. 14.5cu is WAY tooooo big, you want like 9cu total.

It's nice, but you will be free airing those subs with that much space. 4.5cu each driver before port will work well, make you port longer, the height and width are good, but you want a longer port. Watch out because if you change the box size and port length, you will change your tuning.

-Smaller box (4.5cu/driver)

-Port (longer port)

ok resized and all. also retuned, i switched from 35hz down to 30hz because i do listen to alot of hip hop.

here it is

the port is 17.5x5.75 and 21in. long. after displacement the box is 9.02 cubic feet.
