Hey guys ive been running my 60.5cs kappas and 693.7kappas off of my reference 475a amp for just over a year now. there have been 2 or 3 times where my amp has powered itself into protect mode after continuous use but it always turned on as normal within a few hours time once it had a chance to cool down.

About a month ago the amp went down just like the other few times but never came back out of protect. I hadnt gotten to giving it a real look as I have been in the process of moving from Maine to Charleston, SC. Since it went down all I hear is a (very) small "click" in the rear of my car in intervals of 9 or 10 seconds.

Im under the impression my amp blew mainly because my speakers should easily be able to handle the 90rms@2ohm this amp is putting out, but i could be wrong just an assumption. Its very possible the idiots who installed the 6 speakers screwed something else up (there have been a few things). Could anyone tell me or point me in the right direction to a few tests I could run or things i could look at. Cosmetically the interior of the amp looks fine.

Any help is extremely appreciated!

(Looking for Fosgate Power 1000 25 to life and 13tw5, if anyone is trying to sell)
