I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra that I am putting a Q-Logic Enclosure in. The enclosure fits under the rear seats on the passenger side. The enclosure holds two 8" subs. I am trying to decide which subs to buy that will give me the best sound and bass. I listen to rock and alternative music. The specs for the enclosure are as follows:

Magnet Diameter: 7in.

Mounting Depth: 4.625 in

Volume: 0.70 cu.ft. x 1

I am looking at the following subs:

Boston Acoustics G108

Polk Audio MM840

JL Audio8: W1v2-4

RE Audio: RE X Series 8"

Tang Band: W8-1747A

Kicker 09S8C2

What i really want are the jl 8w3v3 subs, but their mounting depth is 4.63 inches.

Which subs should I go with. I really want this thing to sound good. Thanks for any advice you can give. AC.

I only have experience with the JL and RE on your list.

Have you decided on power yet?

Out of the 2, I am most impressed with the JL w1v2. I have one here that I have been messing around with for a while. It is

very versatile IMO and will do a lot more than its size and specs suggest.

I am running a JL HD900/5 for the whole system. Focal 6.5" in the front and rear doors. My budget on the amps is around $300 for the pair.
