im looking to spend around 100-200$ on a new sub. im looking for a good overall sub, i guess the term is SQL? i would like to run it ported but its not a must. i have an alpine mrd-605 (600 rms@2ohms). and i listen to rap n hip hop. so any suggestions?

i have heard only good things about sound splinters. and i know it says that 600-700 rms would be enough to get it moving on the site but is 600-700 rms really enough to get it moving?

does any one else have another suggestion on what sub to get? its also been suggested to me to get a RE SE. would that be a good choice?

im actually not so impressed with my type s lol. but ive also heard alot about the type r (especially on this forum). so i guess my question now is how do these three subs compare; sound splinter, re se, type r?

type r's r just really loved or really hated on this forum. only reason i suggested was because i saw u had a S and the R is a step up and didnt know how you felt about your sub now.
