HELP choosing a motor!

I got a brand new 18" ma audio HK.....

You could gut it and recone it, with better softparts. Thats the only thing holding it back. It will accept a 4" 8 layer coil I do believe. And to the best of my knowledge it is a 660 oz motor.

I have had random thoughts of doing it myself and selling it.

Of course you would ask that.....lol. I can get pics of it when I get back on the 13th. I am currently 500 miles away from all my gear working till then.

do you have enough juice to make a 4" coil worthwhile?

Someone is selling a TRF on this site I believe. There also seems to be a few Madmax motors floating around as well.

Yea it's a good price too, just don't have cash inhand right now :/ and as for power, I'm doin it all wrong lol getn the sub built b4 I purchase an amp... But will be building up electrical while sub is being built n tested //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

let me know if your interested
Not qUite big enough but will keep in mind incase build plans change

Nothing wrong wit buying sub 1st IMO. This way you can buy an amp according to the rms and ohms needed
That's wut I'm thinkn. This is a custom 1 off sub so lotsa testing. Can't really predict exactly wut power I'm gonna wunna feed it
