Help choose 15"

Alright, this is kind of a broad question, but I need help choosing a 15" sub and an amp to go along with it. A mix of SPL and SQ in a custom box built to its dimensions for an 04 Dodge Ram. Already has a headunit... think its a lower end pioneer 2300 or something like that. (This is for my friend). An amp that matches it nicely would be nice too. And price-range... just something with the most value, like a 15" Tempest or something like that. Please help, Thanks, Matt

04 Dodge ram, what like quad cab or is this going behind the seat or under a bench, how much room.

Yeah, under his seat in the back, extended cab. He fit 2 Kenwood 12's in there (i know they ****) and it sounded decent. I think he is gonna get a custom box made for it.

maybe a mag d2 15" if he can get a hold of one, i guess you couldnt for a while

Rough cubic feet estimate? Probably a fairly shallow mounting depth too?

just got my 15 orion h2 setup w/ my brutus 1500d. guaranteed to knock you're socks off. crisp, clean and gets really loud.
