HELP!!! Big peice of sheet metal???

ok the top of my truck is like huge it's an extended cab ford f-150 and i dont know if just deading it is going to be enough! anyone have any ideas? or words of wisdom on how to make it stop resination and rattleing?

deaden it. either with mat which some people say no cause of heat and it could start to fall. Or liquid.

I have a f150 supercrew. I used secondskin audio mat and it hasn't fallen off and it's been on for quite a while throught the california summer and here in lemoore it gets around 90-100 degrees.

Although if I had to do it again, I might tape and plastic everything off and spray the liquid deadener on there. I would go with secondskin audio products, I wont use anything else....

Oh the rattleing will probably be the overhead consle. The little drop down compartments. What I did about that was, after the head liner was back on, before I snapped the consle back in I slide a piece of mdf between the headliner and the plastic mounting area of the console, I'm sure yours is the same. Take it off and you can actually see in there you can pull the liner down some, and slide something in there to keep the liner from smacking that stupid plastic piece that runs the whole length of the roof...
