Help. Best 4 channel amp for components.

I was hoping you all could help me out. I am looking to put 6 1/2 components and 6/9 coaxials in my accord coupe. I have been out of this hobby for a while and don't know the brands anymore. I would like an amp that will push ~100x4 rms, and would like to spend less than $200. I looked at the phoenix gold octane R 8.0:4, which is $150 0n ebay. I understand phoenix gold has gone hill since I bought my MS 2125 a few years back, and don't know what other amps might do the job. I am also unsure about speakers, so any help there would be good to. I want a nice pair of components for the front ($300-400 retail price range), so I was thinking Kappa perfects or something from Boston Acoustics or MB Quart. For the rears, I want some really bassy 6x9's since I will not have subs. Also, I still have an MS2125 in excellnt shape so if any of you audiophiles are interested in true phoenix gold quality, e-mail and we'll make a deal.

As for pg going down hill, thats subjective, but the xenon 100.4 will sound just as good, or better than your ms. That pg octane amp will work out fine, good quality, and its very reliable. As for components get these, and keep it pg. These are some of the best components for the money, and will blow your mind.

as for 6*9s check out the polk momo 6*9s they are great as well, and will give you alot of bass. They also come with a crosover, which most coaxes dont for better tweeter protection. They can usually be had for about 120 or so on ebay brand new.

get urself memphi 16-mc3004...........bad *** amp....it's my pride and joy of my mids and highs

The memphis amp is good, but it costs more, and wouldnt have any better sq. So for the price standpoint get the pg octane amp. If you just want to spend more than I guess get the memphis. As for components you will just have to go audition some, and see what you like. Everyone has different tastes

I have run Xenon and then switched to Diamonds D5 model on my comps

both give excellent SQ,but Diamonds are a little better in SQ and also snappier

DA D5/6 line up is US made while Xenon is made in Korea for about the same price

which country do you support
