Help asap please

I bought a new DC 3.5k to replace the Alpine I had. I simply removed the Alpine and added the DC in, and it instantly goes into protect mode with nothing hooked up (Speakers or RCA's)

I've tried:

Plugging the RCA's in

Re-doing my ground

Jumping the power and remote leads

All to no avail. Would rather not have to return and deal with waiting longer if I don't have to.

Could it be a short in the wiring? I haven't had the alpine hooked up in quite a while so I'm not sure if it's working on the same wiring or not. It's in my gf car now.

Hate to break it to you, but if your grounds are perfect and it's still protecting, you need to call DC immediately.
