HELP...Amp wont turn on

Ok I've had this amp for like 6 months and it has always run well....But today I decided to rewire it into a mono 4 ohm load to get 400 rms x 1 @ 4 ohms. It was bumping GREAT for like 10-15 minutes then it just stopped playing. The subs stopped for like 10 seconds then they started up again for like 5 seconds then stopped and now the amp wont turn on. I checked wiring.......WHAT IS WRONG.....I didnt fry my amp did I??? (Amp is the eclipse 33230)

come on someone PLEASE help...this is pretty serious. I'm supposed to sell this amp today and now it wont turn on...VERY bad for me.

Did you try wiring it back up the way it was before to see if that still works? Also, did you check the fuses in the amp to see if they're blown?

Fuses. You put your amp into protection mode and it went thermal or some junk like that. Check your fuses.

I did wire it to how it was before and the amp still wont turn on....I have 2 25 amp fuses and they look fine but I wouldnt know if the fuse was blown or not

well look at the fuses and if the middle is blown to hell and back then you need to go get a new one and it will work(your amp) i had the same problem wen installing my amp. i checked the fuse and it was blown. i went to radioshack bought two 60 amps fuses for like 3 bux and put a new one in and the amp worked fine.

Wierd...I got a hold of a Multimeter and found out the the terminal where it connects to my battery was corroded and only putting out 3 volts. It's just weird because RIGHT when I rewire my system the terminal at the battery shut off.....No relations to my wiring, yet it happened right when I rewired. And yes, it is up and bumpin again, thanks for the help...later
