HELP!! Alpine CDA-9813

I had an Alpine CDA-9813 installed in my 96 Lexus by Tweeter with Polk speakers that were installed previously - receiver shorts out after I hit the 22+ volume - IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE NEAR OWINGS MILLS MD 21117 WHO CAN CHECK THIS CAR OUT AND TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO? I don't think (obviously) they wired the d-mn thing correctly - and they're OUT OF BUSINESS NOW.....don't wanna replace the speakers unless I have to....

Make sure that the ohms on the speaker are not lower than what the radio can handle.

I had this happen to me on a altima. Installed Alpine hu and Alpine comp in the front but left the stock 6x9. It kept cutting out. Found out the 6x9s were 2ohm.

9813 i think requires a 12v to be ran to the battery for the V-drive internal amp... didnt tweeter go out of business
