help... alarm install questions.

I gave my lil brother the alarm I bought on egay. He needed it more than I did. His Work van got broken into 4 times this past 2 months and stolen once.

Ok, The trigger for the parking lights: I am guessing I need to wire it to a relay and tap into the parking lights and run the T-line back to the relay?

This goes same for horn and dome lights?

The Starter Kill gets T-ed into the starter ignition line?

If anyone has a schematic for wiring a relay please post it.

I am wiring up the horn and siren. The siren will be in the van so if they breaking it will be too loud and aggravating to stick around. The horn will be going off also to alert people nearby and annoy them to go check it out. I am guessing that the horn and siren will both go off?

Ok, does anyone know what type of diodes I need to buy?

just one that is meant for 12v and can take the required amperage for the application

oh, ok, so its not like capacitors or resistors. OMg it's been so long scince DeVry. I forgot most stuff I learned. I might bugg later for info about multiple sensors. I plan on adding a Prox sensor later.
