ok ive already got 2 12" SE's and a RE12.1 here, and ive got CDT HF-62 comps with a jl300/2 amp shipping to me right now. this is my first system so i dont know how the wiring works. what wiring will i need for my 300/2 and what wiring will i need for my 12.1. someone school me on what i need to finish my system please

http://www.knukoncetz.com

0awg from the battery to the trunk

0AWG for big 3

4 AWG for the RE amp power and Ground

8Awg for the JL amp power and ground

0Awg to 2-4 4awg distro block

4 Channel RCA Cables

Remote wire

12awg for wiring subs

16awg for components

Then search electrical forum for threads on how to wire everything.

If you have never installed anything in your life I highly suggest you have a knowledgeable person do it for you or your going to come on the forum in a couple weeks and ask whats wrong with your system.

x2

also... on top of that what kinda HU do u have?

because im appreciative of people who actually take the time to help people? are you an egotistical ******* or something and make fun of people who try to let people know their appreciative when you take the time to type out everything they need to wire their system?

but btw thanks, thats a shitload of wiring, any links to where i can buy it/most of it at? and an idea on how much its going to cost me? i have a feeling if i took it to my local audio shops theyd charge like 500 for just the wiring because their overprices ****s

You can get all the wire at the Knukonceptz like that I gave above, they have good prices and good wires. Kits are OK, but the RCA cables they put in their kits are garbage I think. I always buy all the pieces seperatly.

I would look into someone installing your components, that is defintily a more advanced project. Running wire to the trunk, amd wiring subs isnt hard. Everyone has to learn sometime. I do suggest trying to find someone who has done it before and do it with them, it will make things much easier and more understandable.
