Hello from St Louis

Hey all new here obviously, have lots of questions! So I purchased a 2004 dodge 2500 quad cab j believe and I want to completely redo the cars audio system. New head unit, amp, subs , speakers everything. I don't just want it to be loud I want the sound quality to be awesome as well. I came into this forum thinking JL audio was king, but from reading it seems it's overpriced. So what aee some really good companies I could look into? Any advice is really appreciated!

What's your budget?

That's a big budget. Welcome from a fellow St Louis member. What area are ya in? You'll be able to make quite a quality system with that money, especially if you do the work yourself. Talk to cscstang about boxes, he'll hook you up with designs or a build if you're interested. And at a great price. Continue doing lots of research. You might also want to check out diyma or caco. Two other great forums with a lot of info. Although diyma can kinda ruin your brain with tech specs. But like I said, continue researching and you'll have a much better time with you install. Good luck!

Thank you, I'm near Ofallon! Yeah hoping to stay at or under 2 so I have money for other things as well ha. I'm a complete noob and have no idea how to install so I will definitely have to do some reading. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.
