Sooo, i am learning lots from the search. I love this site. ITS AWESOME
i have gotten further along. and i might just be starting all over. i pulled all the equipment out to fix a few things on the car. I got rid of my yellow top, and replaced it with the kinetik 1800. i tossed out the capacitors and got the kinetik 600 in their place. i read up on my alternator, wich cranks out a gigantic 55 amps
so i orderd a larger VW bus alternator rated at 75 amps and had it rewound to 120amps. that should be all i will need. I am doing "the big 3" well ... kinda. Its actuallly more like the "little 3" i have no easy access to o guage wire and lots of 4g wire. So i ran everything 4g. I do not plan to push more than 120 amps across any wires in this car.
I also had the seats and center cushion recoverd. My idea was to replace all my speakers with newer stuff, and get a new head unit. What do you say about
