My friends selling me his helix h400 espirit 4 ch. Does anyone have any experience with helix amps to power some good componenets. Are they worth the money?

I don't know how high the price is but if you post it we could gauge if its worth it or not.

At full retail, they're only worth the money to someone who has it to burn. They make rated power. They cost a lot, new. They don't provide anything magical to the sound. They are stone cold reliable. If you can get one cheap, no reason not to buy it. Cheap is the operative term.

haha, na not gettin it from ron but some other guy I know, he got some for 400 brand new. Jus cant decide if I should jump on it. Wat do you guys think about 4

it's a good amp, i liked it when i had it. Small footprint too.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but was curious about something. Can anyone tell me if there is another company that makes amps that has a transparent cover, allowing the ability to see the components within the amp beside Helix? I ask because I think these amps look so sexy.

just have a black plastic cover. You could replace it with clear plastic pretty easily.
