besides how is it easier to find power at 1 ohm when most amps dont play at 1 ohm. And sure some people may run 2 15's but I dont think most people run 2. Most people asking about SS on here are torn between 2 12's and 1 15 so thats not a good answer

nowadays a lot of amps are stable to one ohm

and anyway if you need to find twice for 2 subs, then it's way easier at 1 than at 2

well Ill say just one more thing then I really do need to sleep, but when I was buying an amp I found most amps were only 2 ohm stable. I would say its easy to find those 1 ohm stable amps, sure you can find them and I used to run the Soundstreams that were 1/2 ohm stable but that isnt very many amps. Most power supplies are too tightly regulated for that these days.
