wtf?
I hate that stupid redish orange GM fluid...also, think GM has it's own antifreeze for their cars. is your coolant green or orange?
Which would most likely be the thermostat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifBefore you replace the heater core make sure that you are getting hot coolant to the core. I don't know about your car but one car I worked on had a valve the was stuck so when I turned the heat up the valve didn't open.
I have never done one. I'll get a new thermostat as well. Is there a significant difference between the prestone version and one done at an auto repair place? If there is, I will just get it done on Monday with my front end alignment, rotate and balance, and brake system flush.whens the last time you did a coolant flush? most likely if not in the past 50k i'd probly do one, and at the same time get thermostat unless your going to DIY, then idk..try thermostat and if dont work just do a coolant flush at a service place, if anything should happen, they will be half at fault. soo.
Easy and cheap enough, I may give it a shot.I would switch out the thermostat first..
Orange. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifalso, think GM has it's own antifreeze for their cars. is your coolant green or orange?

Well, when I think of thermostat I think of the valve on the motor that kicks open when the motor gets hot...Which would most likely be the thermostat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
