Yeaa...I've heard from older people that the higher frequencies are what go first, but I'm guessing thats just because most people that lose their hearing from things other than music lose it from higher pitched sounds like gunshots and other stuff like thatI listened louder than I do now for a few years when I was just getting into stereo systems - I think I have some damage from the tweeters in my first "serious" system. I notice that the telephone sounds noticeably different ear to ear - my tweeter was dead on axis with my right ear in that car vs. the other tweeter being way off, I always felt it a bit in my right ear but ignored it at the time.
Not too bad... my hearing is still pretty sharp, but I did take note of that when switching the phone to my other ear.
I feel like my highs sound pretty much the same as they always have
