I like to hear my music, and only my music. So, I have the curtesy to leave my windows up.

No, if im on the highway or a main road ill cruise with the windows down halfway or somthing at moderate volume...but you see here in my county noise ordinances go 150$-$300-$600-etc.

yea im in the same boat, but ever since my ticket i tend to not even listen loud anymore

The setup in my car is freakin' awesome. With trunk closed and windows up, I can have it balls to the wall and it just sounds like a stock system turned up decently loud. Stand 10' away from the car and you can't even hear the bass, and only a little bit of highs (no trunk rattle either with zero deadener on my trunk lid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif I was pretty happy with that). But, open my trunk and my doors, and it sounds like your at a rock concert....LOL.

Anyways.....I really like the fact that I can listen to my stereo anywhere at whatever volume I want and not have to worry about anybody else really hearing it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My house is just behind a buisy intersection. I here alot of bass thumping, but only when I'm outside, not inside. So it doesn't bother me that much for that reason. I dont crank it up on my street, or anywhere residential for that matter; as previously stated - courtesy is nice. With that said, when I pull up to the 7-11 going to buy cigarettes, I like to see people's reaction. It's nice to see people's heads turn, no doubt about that.

Yeah you can hear mine outside from far away but I only turn it up when im out on the road but I dont like the kids that set their "system" up so they can be heard outside, by switching the phase and whatnot, anyway everyone says its loud outside but it should be louder because its really loud inside lol

Depending on where i am i would really rather my music be just for me. I never thought i could be heard outside my car until i let a friend drive it one day and we heard one of the paintings rattle on his wall.
