Health Insurance: Responsibility or Right?

Responsibility or Right?

I guess you could say that's true in a sense, but it's a matter of opinion, IMO.
I find it amusing how you default to it being a matter of opinion when you have clearly slanted your poll towards an answer.. which by the way, never had a correct answer in it.

Have you seen the price of health insurance? $400 a month for basic coverage. To get good coverage will cost much more then a BMW, and if someone can afford a BMW, they most likely work for a corporation that provides health benefits. Either the doctors or the insurance companies are gouging people. Some of the costs seems ridiculously high.
I work for Wal-Mart, and I pay $63 a month.

$350 initial deductible.

$5,000 MAX out of pocket.

Full dental coverage.

$63 a month, Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I could lower it down to a $2,000 max out of pocket, but it would go up $40 a month.

I will be sure to explain your benefits package to my employer when the subject arises.

This is my first health insurance plan that I've had for a few years now, and I can't complain. After the initial $350 deductible, my co-pay is only like $20 per doctor visit, and the prescription coverage is top notch.

I'd rather be responsible and pay for my own health insurance than rely on the government for assistance.

Walmart pays for 67% of the cost of your health insurance, and if you think paying 5k out of your pocket is good, then that is your prerogative I guess.

How does that help anyone who doesn't work at wal*mart?
