Headunits under $15

My daughters escalade POWER WHEELS radio has died. I was quoted $50 for a replacement. They only have fm radio and no display. I went on ebay and found these cheap media receivers that have Bluetooth and fm radio with a decent display for $14 shipped. Has anybody used one before? They look good for small projects like a cooler stereo or something where you might be afraid of destroying a good hu. I know I could get a used hu for like $35 but if the thing gets left outside and it gets rained on that's a decent hu ruined that someone on a budget could have used.

Looks like they sell Boss, Planet Audio, etc. etc. for almost that cheap too so I guess that's your entry level China head unit these days. I will say that those low end head units perform pretty poorly but the last one I tried sounded fine and actually had a few good features. I'd suspect very hit or miss reliability but it should be more than adequate for a power-wheel toy car.

I just needed working fm radio and a pair of rca outputs. The Bluetooth is a bonus. I hooked up a pair of pwx6.5 on a tiny 75x2 amp with a 60ah battery and the factory fm receiver died just static every once in a while you can get a rough Mexican channel. I figured I'm this far so f it put in a new hu.
