Hey guys I was originally looking at the clarion cz500 head unit. however i heard there are better head units for under 150$ that respond more efficiently and don't have bluetooth as that would drive the price up. Let me have your opinions on the best bang for the buck around 150$, thanks all!

Alpine iDA-X200 , is that sufficient you are using it, only question was why is it discontinued, and the x100 looks pretty ****** versus the x200? Also the clarions aren't in the same league as the ida x200? Also i hear its a little unconvienent with the screen and some of the functions, I would invest around 200$ if there is a substantially better more appropriate head unit.

early IDA series are discontinued, new one is the ida-x305s i believe. i kinda wish i had the x100 because of the fancy screen, i think the x200 was for people who wanted ipod compatibility without breaking the bank for a fancy screen.

you won't find one of those IDA's new for that price though, but one is bound to popup in the classifieds at some point. i paid $100 for mine
