Headlights Dimming

I have a Boss RIPD3 amp (3000 watts), 1200 watts rms at 4 ohms, running one 15" Audiobahn Immortal Sub at 2 ohms. I have it hooked up to a Kole Audio 2.5 Farad Capacitor but my headlights are still dimming. Can anyone give me an explanation for this? Do I need a bigger capacitor, or look for a better battery?

U shop at the swap meet alot?

anyway, you boss amp is managing to pull enough current to cause a voltage drop. In turn causing less current to flow to your headlights, thus the dim. The capicator is probably not helping much. I had one in my old car and it will not be transfered to my new car. Have you done the big 3? What is your alternator rated at?

would you consider one of those kenitik batteries a real battery or a cap?

Yeah, what do those battery cap things do? Or should I just get another battery? About how much would an alternator upgrade be?
