head units

I need to have my head unit repaired in Oregon. Does anyone who does this? A Panasonic P117 ,from a 1998 suby outback

Everytime I put in the cassette adapter, it ejects it back out. What could be the problem

Btw when I put in a regular cassette it plays fine. It used to play fine with the cassette adapter in , but now it ejects it out.

It would almost certainly cost less to replace the head unit, plus you would have better sound. Cassette adapters are awful.
