Unless its not made anymore and the only place to get it ebay then i would go local.

Ive bought 5-6, only a couple were dead ones or the seller was an idiot ans screwed me over.

I bought mine off ebay from secondtimeaudio. The only thing wrong was they sent the wrong harness with it. Since the minor hiccup, it has worked flawlessly.

I bought my Kenwood x790 off of eBay. It retails for $350 but I picked it up for around $200 brand new. Has worked perfectly and have had no problems.
