need help chaning head unit on a 97 chevy blazer.. how do i begin?

Your going to need a harnew and instal kit. Depends on what size deck your installing and a whole lot of other issues.

Single din,

Half din,

Are you running amps? Then you have to run RCAs and a remote lead.

If your powering the speakers off the deck, there should be a site with the wire codes to help you use the stock speaker wires. Otherwise, you have to run thos. Which you will have to do if your using amps. Good luck.

right now im just replacing tyhe head unit..i havent ordered my amps yet. right now i have the stock head unit. i have a head unit from a chevy Baretta
