Head Unit works but keeps blowing fuses

first of all did you do the install using a wiring harness or did you cut the factory harness and splice in ? If you took the cut and splice method, the wire you have showing as a ground may indeed be the illumination wire for your dash lights. Does the fuse blow when you turn on the lights at night, but work fine any other time. if so that may be the problem find a ground for the stereo

good advice ahead of me. You probably just have a wire rubbing occasionally. Pull it out and make sure everything is tight. Also, it's best to just spend the ten bucks for the wiring harness. It's one less headache.

first of all do u have to have the lights on to listen to your radio? dumb question but it is a common mistake in early 90's eclipses. if not it probably is a wire rubbing and you should be able to see which one it is just by looking at it when you take it out.
