head unit under 100$?

On a serious not, please tell us some more info.. New, or is used ok? Does it need to play cd's, ipod controls and pandora, or is cd/mp3 fine?

Do you plan on running a system off this, or is it a simple hu replacement? help us out here friend:)

haha. well i want it to be new. i want it to play cd's and have an aux. you can get one with pandora!? if its close to 100$ for pandora id be willing to pay some more.

I expect most sub-$100 head unit to be pretty bad by car audio enthusiast standards, so I rarely bother to research them. Expect so-so build quality and components. Usually just one pre-amp out. Weak DSP. Often no USB, or only front panel connector. Forget about bluetooth phone support, HD radio, etc. It's a great head unit to buy if you use it primarily for listening AM radio talk shows or if you need to replace your expensive HU before selling the car. Having said that, I'd probably go for some kind of JVC product just because I had one before and it had worked for almost five years before it started skipping CD music.
