Hi all -

Just wondering if anybody here has gotten a chance to play with the model year 2011 Sony DVD head units?? Specifically, the XAV-72BT.

Link: Sony XAV-72BT DVD receiver at Crutchfield.com

It seems like a good unit (solid preouts, time alignment, eq, built-in Bluetooth, etc.), but I've heard nightmarish reviews about last year's model's (XAV-70BT) iPod support / menu navigation and how slowwwww it is.

Does anybody know if Sony fixed this with their newer (updated?) model?? I sure hope they didn't just add 2 to the model number...

If you work in the 12V business, and happen to have one setup on a display board at work, can you do me a huge favor and go mess with it? I want to hear some real world hands-on experience. (I can't find one in any store in my area)

Thanks!
