Head unit turning on and off

Hey guys,

I have a 97 camaro with a Panasonic CQ-DF203U head unit in it. For two years it has been working fine no troubles. For the past year though the head unit has been randoming turning on and off. Occasionally when you hit the CD player dash it turns back on. I checked the 3 main connections and they were all still connected well together.

Questions:

Has anyone had a similar problem with there camaro or panasonic head units?

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong with the head unit?

its old. Get a new one.

does your HU have a external fuse holder on the power wire?

well rules that out.

but it just sounds like something is breaking connection. either your wiring or inside the HU.

Well it turns off and on at idle and when I am driving.

yea mines does the sam eproblem but its a fiero with pioneer and its brand new and keep flashing on and off at anytime
