Head Unit suddenly not receiving power

I got a Kenwood DDX771 head unit maybe two years ago, its been working flawlessly until a couple weeks ago, weird stuff started happening to it. Firstly, the bottom buttons panel become unresponsive, but I was getting by just using the touchscreen. About a week after that the sound turned into just static, making it completely unusable. And now its not receiving power at all (even though I connected it straight to the battery, so its getting power) although sometimes the red light will come slightly on, even though its supposed to be blinking.

Does anyone have any suggestions or past experiences?

makes me think the headunit is dying, the harsh dusty environment of a car can be hard on some headunits

Have you tried resetting it with the reset button? Also double check all the wiring make sure no connection have came lose
