Head Unit Install Question fast plz

i need help really bad so plz help ok question i bought this

my car is 2006 jetta i havn't installed the antenna adapter yet

i havn't order it i forgot. anyway my car doesn't have antenna auto antenna relay control..

so whats happening is my headunit stays on and will not turn off. if i open the door when the motors off the unit stays on. i turn on the alarm the headunit stays on. Do i have something hooked up wrong my cd player won't turn off.

On the wiring harness(es) there is a wire that says; "Remote" or "Ignition Switch"

That's the signal that tells your unit to be on, or lets it turn off.

Do you have that wired to the correct lead?

What did you hook the Acc-wire on the Pioneer to? It sounds like you have it hooked-up to your constant 12v.

Try switching the red and yellow wire.

Red is your on/off power, yellow is your battery.

your vw doesnt have a switched 12v back there both yellow are red are constant. the hu turns on by canbus. i used a switched 12v from the harness plugged into the tach side of your gauge cluster. or post 75 under the left side of the steering column. they both work but now i am gonna use a relay on the red wire and the 12v turn on from the tch harness...
