HDTV's...what do you have?

I actually just got back, I picked up a Phillips 42" w/ Ambilight. I looked around at several places (bestbuy, Circuit City, Local place called wrights sound gallery, SAMS, and I went to walmart to check to see if they had some deals.

Well I ended up at bestbuy...and out of all the TVs I looked at this one impressed me the most. Out of the ones in my price range...and hell I didnt know it had ambilight till after I made the decision to buy it...so that was great.

I think I've cought the HT/Home Audio bug now. Im starting a small build tomorrow will have some pictures. Going to be building the new Project on Parts express (TriTrax) but with better drivers.

So let me know what you have, and if the TV I bought is decent...in my eyes it was the best I saw. So hopefully i will be satisfied //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it's something that Philips introduced in newer model tvs. Doesn't it just basically mean there isn't a certain amount of light being shown in just one part of the screen, it's kind of divided up equally?

Good to see you made the right choice by going LCD. You will not regret your purchase. However I feel you didnt get a very good deal if you went to Worst Buy.

Get yourself one of these and hang that bish!

Enjoy that set!

My dad is waiting until the industry decides what standard they are going to chose or at least let the prices drop.
