But last night I watched the Pioneer Elite Plasma... might edge it out.

It's the best picture quality I've seen out of new HDTV's... and wow the 1080P Pioneer Elite Plasma... was AMAZING.

are you the type who thinks front projector sucks to. actually the only advatange plasma has is viewing angle thats it.

What does front projection have to do with plasma vs dlp? But since you bring it up you will still get a brighter less washed out image on your sxrd vs front projection like pearl. In a nice dedicated light controlled room front would be nice..

As far as viewing angle thats not only plasma advantage, plasma has no SSE aka silk screen effect, pantyhose like sheen on the screen. Colors are also more realistic and can display more colors. Black levels are also better imo compared to sxrd or dlp and being direc-view plasma still has more "pop" to the picture, like good ole direc-view tube tv.
