That is a bold statement unless you have tested every woofer there is to say the ONLY thing better is DD.
Both DD and AQ make good stuff - but there are MANY other excellent choices out there.

you would be surprized but i have actually tried MAAAAAAAAAAANY subs of that caliber, and my statement is based on something. Im not a 16 year old forum kid without a car and plenty info that i've only READ online.

Jacob i really dont want to cut up your product cuz i dont wanna be a dick or get banned but I saw your subs and I can tell you that AQ HDC3 is a better designed and engineered product. Just get the one you want. I have had great success with AQ products in my current car. I have heard the HDC3 18s more than enough times to know that they are some kick *** subs. Great build quality and performance despite what some may think.

But me being me, and having 2 cars after tomorrow, I will strongly consider doing an all Sundown substage in that car. 3000D on either 2 15 NS or one 18 NS.

The OP says he makes 100K+ a year so I don't think pricing is a real issue.
