hdc312 + aq2200d good match?

Andrew: Would the 1200 run off my stock though? Honestly, i'm not looking for the best of everything...i'm more of a "gets the job done" for this. I dont' even listen to rap or any bass heavy music, so it probably won't be in use alot of the time. This is just something I've been saving for for a long time..dont' ask why lol. One of my friends has an Fi Q off a zx1000 and another has a hdc315 off of a sundown 1500 (though I havne't heard this one) and they're sick.

I AM listening to everyone's advice about the 2200 still, I'm just trying to figure out all of my options.

Alright, that makes it alot easier. If you don't plan on playing it hard often, then you should still at least look into the big 3 and possibly a small battery in the rear to put next like a kintetik 800 or similar. That should hang on strong with the 1200

At the moment i'm stronglyleaning towards the aq1200d. I'll also do the big 3, and that will hopefully be a very good budget setup.

I'm goin to have to add everything up that i'm going to buy (pg rsd's, HU, speaker amp, Deadening, wire, etc) and see how much $ I have left. From that i'll make my final decision...

Well throwin it out their Knukonceptz makes good and cheap wire... iv gotten the 0 gauge klm kit, karma rca's and 100ft of 12 ga speaker wire, and its all very nice.

i am thinking about the same enclosure.. only 2.1 cuft @ 36hz. is 36hz a good tuning area. oh and to the OP. i have my original box 2.7cuft @ 38hz and the sub definitely wants something smaller. now i have 1.98cuft @ 43hz. likes it better, but wants to be tuned much lower.. so is 36hz a good spot?

an AQ 2200 and AQ HDC3 would be a perfect match.

How BAD would a hdc312 be on the aq1200? Obviously it can take alot more power, but would it still perform decently?

i have a sundown saz-1500d wired to half an ohm on a hdc3 15 and it gets very loud, by reading what you want get the aq1200d. also tune to 38 or 40hz!

Trust me broseph, the 1200 and the hdc3 will be great together for a daily beater. Dj designed them to play hard in the power range of 800- 100k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif rms. And yes, tune to 38-40hz
