came up with a new box quick. 31.5 wide, 27 deep, 15 tall. port 5.5 inches wide.

4.55 ft^3 tuned to roughly 37hz.

have to make sure it will fit.

ordered kicker dual 0 gauge negative battery terminal and 10ft of 0 gauge to finish up my big 3

should i order the sub or amp first?

i ordered the amp.

but im stuck on the sub...

idk what to pick. a new HDC3, a used DD9515 for $250, a MMATS Juggernaut for $250 or a Mach 5 SPL/PSi rebuild sub for $300

what does everyone think of this sub? sound quality wise is it desent or is it horrible?
roughly how loud would a single 15 get in a 4.23ft^3 box tuned to 37 hz on 2000 watts? cars a wagon

thats really depends on your install. but i had my 15 in a 4.7 cube tuned to 37 w/ 3 4" aeros. i hit a 143 @ 40 with 1250 of clamped power

also you will be lucky to get 1800 or so clamped running at .5 after rise with that amp. we clmaped my friends around 1200 rms wired at 1 ohm.

i dont know about that. i clamped mine at 1250 with a rise to 2.67 (from 1ohm)

YEah copper hdcs rise a lot this one was rising from 1 ohm wired to 2-3 ohms clamped. Wire them to .5 for aq amps or any decent amp. 4.5ft - 36hz - 8" aero. aq 1200d.

The DD will hold it's value better than the AQ if you ever plan to sell it. If buying a new sub matters to you, get the AQ. If you don't mind buying used, get the DD. That's my opionion.
