The main thing I am getting at is that ONE sub that is known of made it through QC like that. ONE. Is one out of thousands (guessing at that because I have no real number) acceptable? In a perfect world no. But in the real world yes. Would I be a little miffed if it was mine. Yes. I already said that. But manufacturing defects do sneak by. I mean, look at cars. There is a lemon law because cars that are made by dozens of people slip through with manufacturing defects. Again, in a perfect world it wouldn't happen. But people make mistakes. Maybe the dude building the subs wife left him and his mind wasn't in it, maybe it was the end of his shift and he just said fuu it, maybe he honestly didn't notice. We'll never know.

Well its 2 for 2 out of the ones that have come to me. I agree there could be 1000s of em with no problems, but how about all the others that may have the issue? If a gas pedal on a car gets stuck, even if on just one or two. They do a recall, they check all the products from the same production line... this obviously isnt cars so lets not make that comparison, its simply not accurate.

Car is retired so it's a moot point, but going by the definition you gave my car was legal and I was allowed to compete. Not sure why you really care anyway as you weren't in my class.

I sent PMs to you and DJ just saying it was an extra $2 to add a copper shorting ring, and $3.xx less if they eliminated cooling channels. It was a win win, he didnt take for it or have anything to say. Wasnt whining, was asking a legit question. Appearntly everytime I say something mike you say im whining or crying or crawling back to mom. Its childish and really showing on this forum you have nothing else to go off of, just tell me to shut up for the millionth time and leave this thread.

then leave it at that? dont worry about me showing bad experiences... if I was so after him the first thing I woulda posted about the sub is DJs prices shipped from China from Jinlanda Corp. and his conversations with snow hu about things I dont even wish to get started with.

If it WAS between just them we wouldn't be reading/responding in this thread now would we. Think abou that for a second and you'll see why I take offense to his AQ bashing yet again.

Read the OP, he stated nothing that should have brought on the next 500 posts. He stated fact that the sub was messed up, and his opinion on why they are lesser to DD. so I have thought about it for a second, and don't see why you take offence. AQ f ucked up, Matt caught it, and because of his feelings for AQ posted his findings. That is his right, as he is fixing AQ's screw-up. AQ has not contacted him back for a month about the issue. If I were Matt I would do the same thing

I pray that those PM's are still available when CACO comes back up. It was rather obvious that you were butt hurt because he wouldn't take your advice. Evident by the fact you PM'd me to tell me about it, like I have any control over what DJ/AQ do...

Well you did just consider him your close friend. Your teams purchased maybe 10g from him. Id say your a valued customer. You hung out with him... of course youd have some pull in it, atleast more then me lol

1) Can you prove shifted shifted pole is a manufacturing defect and not a shipping issue? If not than that brings you down to one sub.

2) Your comparison with the gas peddle is laughable. That type of defect could be fatal. Car audio aint that serious. :laughing: try something like a cup holder breaking and we're in the ball park. And no, the wouldn't do a recall if a few of them broke. They would send out a TSB (technical service bulletin) and fix the ones that came in to the dealership for free. Much like I'm sure DJ would do for any NORMAL customer in this case. That is speculation though. I can't prove that and I'll admit it.

How did he "fix" AQ's screw up???? How do we know he ever tried to contact AQ about this issue???

Again you have NO idea of all the **** that has gone on with him and DOA, AQ, etc... so I wouldn't expect to you realize that it's him taking another personal shot at AQ...
