"Chinese Garbage" and Chinese built are two different things. If companies do their research and use the right builders overseas, they can have great subwoofers made. For example the new LMS5400. You wont find them with poorly drilled top plates. Or hell even the 4 lanzar optis I got here that were just torn apart. They are built flawlessly besides the bolt pattern being off by maybe 2degrees between two of the bolts (which is far from an issue).

Lets look at the facts and not argue out of stupidity. AQs cheapened up. I dont care if they "work" for you, why should we have to settle for half-assed products. If consumers hold companies to a higher standard they will recieve better products, if you accept half-*** work like this then thats what you will receive your whole life.

You get what u pay for sometimes. And sometimes not.

i got an aq1200 amp, bought it because of the price and its been flawless!

seen a guy over on DIYMA brand new TC sounds $300+ sub that the top end piece didnt even go on the bottom!!! he sent it back to tc and the owner came on the forum and said he was so sorry. he couldnt even get the ****** sub together. the TC owner...

i think if i owned a company and couldnt put my own sub together i would flip out on the people putting my products together...

Has the question of whether the issue with that sub was brought to DJ's attention? I could see the reason for the thread if he saw that and refused to do anything about it. My guess is no. Guy who gave this sub to the OP should have contacted DJ first. But I guess they do **** azz backwards in Wisco.

Mike do you feel good saying my daddy didnt love me enough and thats why im reaching for attention... or is it the fact I can think for myself and use my intelligence and experince to see stuff for what it is. Sorry we cant all hang on your nuts while you hang on DJs. Just curious did any of you guys make it past a GED? You guys have no idea what is involved in a subwoofer, I build dozens a day, I know what quality and what engineering goes behind them. You guys just figure if you have enough people running them they have to be good. I dont care if this arguement ends with 1000 people against me, it comes down to what I said is right. You will walk around the fact that this sub, which BTW is DECAFs is severly flawed and AQ will do nothing about it.

No one cares what you know about subwoofers. That pic was from the Missouri trip. Had a LOT of fun there. You should try it. You know, having fun. We'll go down there again this year. Missouri is nice. Hot as hell but nice.

Alex (BigJoker) in the red hat, Hazardous something something is the tall guy. Not DOA, but he came to visit his girl I believe. He's cool too. Had a nice setup that I think he sold. Martin (Sleepy_Jr) next to him, DJ of AQ fame and whom Matt seeks a consulting job next to him and Black Mike (mlstrass) on the end. I think I took the pic, and White Mike (Mike Lyons Jr) was not far. That was at a Midwest SPL show in June of last year.
