So 5% of lets say 2000 (low estimate) is 100 units. Do you have any data to show that 100 units have had the problem YOU are describing? Yes, parts fail, that happens on every woofer out there at same point or another with some level of consistency.
How many AE subs have you built and how many have failed? Like I said, the janked up motor you received is unacceptable and I HIGHLY doubt DJ would have let that sub pass through had he known about it. Why doesn't he do anything to help you now? Well, simply because you are a c*ck. I wouldn't help you either.
There wasn't anything to argue in that post besides the fact that somehow you think DJ "doesn't care" about his customers because he wouldn't do anything for YOUR B*TCHY ***. Maybe had you approached him about this, or actually on second thought I would have told someone else to do it, then DJ would have taken care of you.
So you're telling me you never received good or team pricing on RD, cascade, or any other subs you ran? Bulllllllllllllllllllllllllsh*t! I remember when you had cascade's in the chevette and all you could do was talk about how awesome they were. Where are those subs now? Why aren't you continuing to talk about how great they are? You do the same thing with every company that comes along and gives you a deal. You talk about their great products until you find a better deal somewhere else and you drop them quicker than a girl's ******* on prom night.
Well, aren't you holding DJ accountable for a motor issue that was outsourced to china? How are these problems any different? Is it because he won't give you another motor for free? Why should he after all the hating and bashing you've constantly done? I sure as hell wouldn't give you anything. What good is it gonna do? Hell, I doubt you'd even make a thread stating how great his CS was if he gave you another motor, but whenever a problem arises you are quick to press the "new thread" button.
The fact of the matter is that whole AE cone debacle was a huge screw-up, but as I recall you did nothing but support the companies half-assed efforts to fix the problem, talking about how the silicone didn't affect the cone properties/weight/etc. What a bunch of b.s. that was.
You said you weren't here to make friends, which I believe is a bunch of crap. Are you here to make enemies? Well, mission accomplished. I actually talked about the issue at hand and gave my opinion on them. Did you skip over that part and just go right to the personal attacks?
I said it was unacceptable to have that motor be sent out. But I also said that this is a rare occurrence, unfortunately this time it fell into the hands of a person who loves to crap on AQ any chance he gets. Had this motor been somewhere else I think the whole situation would have gone down differently.
How do you know DJ isn't looking into the problem? How do you know this same issue hasn't arisen with all the other manufacturers that have used this sub? Hell, we all know they are made in the same place with the same parts. YOUR issue is that DJ won't take YOUR advice, not that DJ won't look into the problem. You feel the need to preach about how great you are with subs and that every company should implement your ideas, when the fact of the matter is that nobody gives a rat's a**. DJ has avoided your ideas since day one, and that's eaten away at you. Why don't you just let him do his thing? Obviously he's doing something right if they are still in business.

Yes, as I've stated multiple times, these flaws are unacceptable. I had no arguments against that.
The issue I have is coming onto a forum and bashing AQ, saying that they have poor QC and CS. I'm guessing you tried calling AQ before this thread and they shot you down? Feeling a bit salty?
You do the same to the rest of DOA, why is it that we can't do it to you?
I wish DD hooked me up, I DO talk about them enough already. There's the difference, I talk about what I LIKE, not about who gives me the best deal, then moves on when another company moves in. Had I done that, DD would have been long gone and been replaced by no less than 3 other companies who have certainly given me a better deal than DD.
In the end Matt, this argument is getting us nowhere. I'll go back to just agreeing what with Von said earlier and leave it at that.
