so i had a box made for me (i dont got the tools nor time). its 2.7cuft @ 38hz. and i need a box that is 2cuft @ 38hz. can i just add to the interior of the box. its a basic slotted L port. could i just add a few big blocks in the corners on other side of port. or maybe ontop of the port itself (if that makes sense)?? or is a new box is order?? i would definitely rather not get a new box yet (eventually i will) but i would like to see if it will sound better/louder first... oh and its the 12"

its not going to make that big of a difference imo
jeremiah himself told me it was too big... but yeah i know, im not looking for a BIG difference, just need alil less airspace, it sounds like sh*t in the box right now.

hahaha jeremiah actually said it perfectly "They get real boomy, and start to have a sound like a retard smacking a barrel with a ball bat..."

thanks, yeah i figured there would not be any problem with doin that, but i dont know all that much about enclosures, so i didnt wanna take any stupid chances.

ok so i have another question. if i add 0.6 cuft to the interior. that would drop it down to 2.1 cuft. i, for some reason, never thought about this effecting the tuning. if i add more and keep the port the exactly the same way, will this lower the freq.? by how much? i was interested in lowering it anyway.. just wanna make sure it wont raise it at all...

here are a couple of pictures of the wood i used to fill the inside of the box. i added enough in and it not is 1.9 cu ft. does anyone think this is a tad too small. i put a few smaller pieces in that i could remove and fiberglassed all edges except the ones i can remove to make it 2.1 cu ft instead? also, i have a tuning question, i didnt put anything in or near the port (i added to the L as shown in the video) but if i didnt change the port from its orginial freq. of 38hz. would this lower it? by how much? because i ran my sub and it seems like it is a little better on the high end, but not as good on the low.
