hdc3 12" box?

my wife is goin to run 1 hdc3 12" in 2009 accord coupe off 1500 watts. Goin to run sub and port facing into the car, and seal off trunk completely. I searched and most people say use 2.5 cubes at 38hz. I used re calculator, 28" W x 13" H x 21"D with port 3.75" W x 16.5" L, says its tuned to 37.8. Thats 43 square inches of port area. Does this sound pretty good?

if you do 2.5cubes net then you want 40^2 of port area and the port should be 18" long....
