HC2400 vs. Optima G31

I can get either. Of course the Optima is cheaper. Also it is used. The Kinetik will be brand new from a dealer. Price difference is about 100. It will be used daily but just to run the car not the system. The system is only on at competitions.

**** if you have the money get the 2400. I'd much rather have too big of a battery then too small of one.

Where did you get lost. I just want to know if $100 price difference is worth the performance of a 2400 over a G31.

It will be a daily battery but the system isnt on unless I am at a competition. The battery will start the car and the car will use it like normal every day. But once or twice a month the system will draw from the battery for about 5 seconds at a time.

the kinetik has a little more reserve. the G31's are solid batteries.

tis a hard choice. if your only getting 1, the $100 isn't too bad. if multiples, i would definitely go with the G31.

in street a you need all the juice you can get,because all you can run is 1 batt,the bigger the better in amps that is.

I maintained a better voltage when I replaced my Group 34 Yellowtop with a Kinetik 2400... well worth the extra $100 IMO.

I have a 34 right now but Im comparing a 31 to the 2400. It has one more cell than the 34.
