HC dust cap came loose!!

It wasn't built at RE from what I can tell. We always use an inner cap for those type dustcaps (12" and up) and there is no logo on the dustcap.

It was not built by RE, you are right there David. Scott made the sub.

Funny thing is that the exact same thing happened to my sub, LOL. I also wondered why there was no inner dust cap.

But anyways go get some GOOP from autozone and be liberal with the bead. Then let it cure with a weight for about 24h.

And let it pound, after I reglued mine the sub really came to life.

What I meant to say is that since Scott built subs for RE in the past I would assume that he used the same building methods and adhesives as RE, But I guess I am mistaken

I reglued the section of the dust cap that came loose with gorilla glue. Later in the week I will play it and hopefully the other sections dont come loose.

Oh man bad choice on the gorilla glue. Hopefully it doesnt get all foamy and shiz.

You should have just pealed the whole thing and reglued it with epoxy.
