having trouble with my speakers and my amps please help

K so yea it was bad ground -_- i got that fixed now i was wondering one other thing can i split the remote cable 3 ways??(capacitor, 2channel amp, 4 channel amp) or would i have to run three new lines from the head unit??

Glad you were able to solve your static issue. Are your gains set to max? If you have a cap, it could be discharge noise. Lose it.

i took the cap of to see if that sloved the issue and it still does it the gains on my 4 channel are half way the one on my 2 channel is about half way aswell

The remote cable is coming form the head unit i used to have it hooked to the cap then the 2 channel amp then the 4 channel amp what mad the pop was the sub so im assuming its the 2 channel amp that gliching out...i removed the cap to see if that dif anything and nothing changed it also does it when i lower the volume im try changing the rca cables to see if that does anything but jm clueless as of now...

Remote to the cap? Wow, that would put a major charge to your remote input as soon as it discharged. Not a good idea. Get rid of the capacitor. Do some research on it and you'll understand why. There is a full length explanation.

So your remote is coming from your head unit? It should be hooked up to the blue wire if you're running a HU with a remote turn-on lead. If not, you should have it running to the power antenna lead, (orange if I remember correctly).

Yea the cap has a remote input it wont turn in unless it has the remote hooked to it inhave a pioneer premire head unit and the unit it self has the blue remote cable...

Hooking up multiple components to the remote wire is ok AS LONG AS YOU DONT EXCEED THE AMP RATING. I always recommend if you are doing 3 or more to wire in a relay to take the load off the remote wire itself.

Now for the thump. I wire in a polarized cap inline of the remote wire to slow down the turn on so the rca signal thump is passed by the time the amp turns on. As long as you dont turn the deck on and off quickly you will probably never hear it again. Somewhere in the 500-1000 microfarad range should do.

K so i got everything up and running my last question is ppl have told me good and bad things about capacitors y should i take out the one im running?? And should i do the big 3 on my set up??

Big 3 is always a good idea even if it's not necessary. It doesn't cost much and it's simple to do. Capacitor is a dirty word around here because people think they cure voltage issues instead of addressing the root cause. If you have one installed there's no real reason to remove it.

Kool thanks one last thing i was gonna re do all my wires and i was gonna move my rca cable on the other side of the car i was wondering if it was ok to have both amps grounded on the same grounf or should i ground them on sperate sides??

Sorry but it took me a while but it turned out being a bad ground on the rca on the head unit i grounded them on a bolt on the unit and problem solved haha
