xs power.

ok so i am wondering about these batteries cold start abilities cause some nights where i live i will get below 0. my red top does fine my i want to run 3 XS 3100 but i can not decide if i want to replace the red top under the hood with one or put all 3 in the back. my red top hasn't let me down before. and i just don't know if these will take the cold as good. i know they are better for audio.

thats what i was thinking. just thought i would test the water on here first. a lot of these guys know good stuff. i just thought about it now and its bit late to call. if no one has a good answer by then i will surely call them. thanks

Just FYI - the CCA rating of a battery is how many amps it can produce at 0* F for 30 seconds without going below 7.2v. The d3100 has 1360 "cranking amps" which is the same test, but at 32* F.

I think you'll be fine.

That's a good a$$ question/topic am replacing my starter with a D31

For the price of these battery I really hope it can stand any weather condition I be **** If I can't stater because of the weather

And just as an aside... CCA is a great indication of a battery's capabilitys. 7.2v is waaaaaaaaay too low for us, but it's still a good measuring stick for us to go by since batts really don't give us much to go by other than Ah.

CCA is also directly related to a batt's internal resistance too.
